Follow in the footsteps of Allied soldiers from the shores of England across the Channel to the beaches of Normandy, retracing the pivotal moments and battles of Operation Overlord. Every fifth anniversary year, Smithsonian Journeys travelers have joined veterans and world leaders at events in England and Normandy that commemorate the anniversary of D-Day, or Operation Overlord.
