Day 1 — Manila
Arrive in Manila and check in to your hotel. Later, enjoy a short introductory tour of the Malate and Ermita districts, neighborhoods that reflect the city’s layered history and evolving character. The remainder of the day is at leisure to rest after your journey or begin settling into the rhythm of the capital.
Day 2 — Manila
This morning, depart with your guide for a full‑day exploration of Manila. Visit Intramuros, the historic walled city that formed the heart of Spanish colonial rule, and explore San Agustin Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the country’s oldest stone church. Pause for lunch at a traditional Filipino restaurant before continuing your tour, gaining deeper insight into the archipelago’s cultural and historical foundations. (B,L)
Day 3 — Banaue
Transfer to the airport this morning for your flight to Cauayan, in the eastern province of Isabela. On arrival, meet your guide and journey north into the mountains to the Ifugao town of Banaue. This remarkable region is home to several UNESCO‑listed rice terraces, some dating back more than 2,000 years. Settle into your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure, surrounded by dramatic highland scenery. (B)
Day 4 — Banaue
Spend the day exploring the landscapes that make Banaue famous. Marvel at the vast “rice pyramids” cascading down steep mountainsides and travel beyond the town to a nearby village, where you’ll wander through a valley of terraces carved meticulously into the hills. The day offers both striking views and insight into the agricultural traditions that have sustained these communities for centuries.(B)
Day 5 — Sagada and Mount Data
Depart Banaue and travel through the highlands toward the relaxed hillside town of Sagada, breaking for lunch along the way. The journey offers excellent photo opportunities, passing rice and vegetable terraces arranged in geometric patterns across the slopes. Visit Bontoc en route, stopping at a small local museum with an informative collection of tribal artifacts and historical exhibits. In Sagada, see the area’s distinctive hanging coffins and burial caves set into limestone cliffs before continuing to Mount Data, where you’ll overnight amid dramatic mountain scenery.(B)
Day 6 — Baguio City
This morning, drive south toward Baguio City, gradually descending from the mountain terraces toward the plains. Enjoy changing landscapes along the way, transitioning from highland agriculture to more open countryside. Arrive in Baguio and settle in, with the remainder of the day at leisure.(B)
Day 7 — Cebu
Travel back toward Manila today along a scenic route different from your northbound journey. On arrival in Manila, transfer directly to the airport for your flight to Cebu. Upon landing, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel, where the evening is free to relax.(B)
Days 8-9 — Cebu
Enjoy a half‑day city tour of Cebu, exploring its historic sites and gaining insight into its role as one of the Philippines’ oldest cities and a key center of trade, religion, and culture. The afternoon and the following day are your to enjoy the beach, relax at your hotel, or venture out independently to further explore Cebu City and its surrounding area. (B)
Day 10 — Panglao Island
Transfer to the ferry port this morning for your ferry crossing to Bohol. On arrival, meet your driver and transfer to the peaceful setting of Panglao Island, checking in to the boutique Amorita Resort, known for its excellent spa, restaurant, and direct access to a small beach.(B)
Days 11-12 — Panglao Island
Enjoy a privately guided tour of Bohol’s highlights. Visit the iconic Chocolate Hills, a unique geological formation, and explore the Tarsier Sanctuary, where you may spot these tiny primates in their natural forest habitat. Return to your hotel in the afternoon.
