Our Panama and Costa Rica by Sea voyage brings travelers into rainforests and mangroves and to remote beaches and indigenous communities. It also includes a full transit of the Panama Canal and a special visit to a nature center run by the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI).  Enjoy a gallery of images from our February 2024 voyage taken by Smithsonian Journeys Expert Steve Paton, a science communicator and wildlife photographer at STRI.
