Artist Dale Chihuly is best known for pushing the art of glass-blowing to the limits of (and sometimes past) the imagination. More controversially, some decry the fact that he hasn't blown glass himself since a car accident that robbed him of one eye and his later shoulder damage in the 1970s. Others counter that most artists have had help since the time of Michelangelo. Whatever your opinions on teamwork, we think Chihuly's work is worth seeing in person. See it for yourself and tour his studio on our Glass Art in Seattle tour, starting August 5th.
