Day 1 — Kasane, Botswana / Chobe National Park

Fly into Kasane and meet your private driver for the transfer to your lodge on the banks of the Chobe River. Take the rest of the day to settle in at your lodgings, relaxing in an idyllic riverside setting and watching for passing wildlife from your veranda. If you wish, join a sunset wildlife cruise, enjoying a sundowner as you observe the animals that come at dusk to drink at the water’s edge. (L,D)

Day 2 — Chobe National Park

Rise early for a morning game drive in a 4x4 vehicle, heading deeper into Chobe National Park with a guide. The park is home to one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the world, and you may spot elephant herds, as well as buffalo, wildebeests, wild dogs, and lions. In the afternoon, join a boat safari along the Chobe River, on the lookout for hippos; crocodiles; and a variety of birdlife, including colorful little bee-eaters clustered together in the reeds. (B,L,D)

Day 3 — Okavango Delta: Kwara Concession

This morning, transfer to Kasane airport for a scenic light aircraft flight across the Botswana bush and the waterways of the Okavango Delta to the private Kwara Concession. You’ll be met by a driver for a short game drive on the way to your camp, watching for elephants, giraffes, lions, and kudu. Once you’ve settled into your camp, head out on a longer afternoon safari, exploring the picturesque lagoons, islands, rivers, and savannah of this 175,000-hectare concession in the northern Okavango Delta. (B,L,D)

Day 4 — Okavango Delta: Kwara Concession

You have another day to explore the Okavango wilderness with your guide. Game drives are offered in the early morning and late afternoon when the animals are most active. You may also wish to head out with a guide on a walking safari for a closer look at the area’s flora and fauna. A variety of birdlife is particularly prevalent here, with storks, egrets, spoonbills gathered around the Godikwe lagoon and sandgrouse, lilac-breasted rollers, and hornbills in the drier northern reaches of the concession . There are also excellent opportunities for boat safaris, fishing, and peaceful trips out on the water in a mokoro. (B,L,D)

Day 5 — Okavango Delta: Mapula and Sekwana Concession

After breakfast, take a brief light aircraft flight west to the Mapula and Sekwana Concession where the Okavango Delta meets the Linyanti River. After settling in at your lodge and enjoying a leisurely lunch, set out to explore the region’s abundant rivers and lagoons on a boat safari, on the lookout for crocodiles, hippos, and elephants, as well as bird species such as fish eagles, kingfishers and African jacanas. Mark the day’s end with a sundowner before heading back to camp. (B,L,D)

Day 6 — Okavango Delta: Mapula and Sekwana Concession

Enjoy your last full day in the Delta. Kadizora has the benefit of being in a concession with permanent water channels, so boat cruises and mokoro rides are available year-round. For an additional cost, you can arrange a privately guided scenic helicopter flight over the delta, where doors are removed to maximize game-viewing as well as photographic opportunities. (B,L,D)

Day 7 — Maun / Depart for home

Enjoy a last chance to see the delta’s flora and fauna on your short drive back to the airstrip. A scenic flight by light aircraft brings you to Maun, where you’ll board your onward flight. (B)
