Day 1 — Naples, Italy
On arrival at Naples airport, meet your private driver for the transfer to your hotel. After time to relax, join your private guide this evening for a walking tour of Naples lit up at night. Along the way, sample some of the best street food the city has to offer.
Day 2 — Sorrento
Depart Naples this morning by private car and drive to Mount Vesuvius, where you'll have the opportunity to take a short hike to the volcano’s crater. Then follow the coast to the town of Sorrento, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel. Catch the sunset over the Gulf of Naples and enjoy a stroll through Sorrento’s center if you wish this evening. (B)
Day 3 — Sorrento
Just north of the Sorrento Peninsula lie the archaeological wonders of Pompeii and Herculaneum, two cities famously buried in ash when Mount Vesuvius erupted in A.D. 79. Spend the day discovering these once-prosperous cities with your private guide. Visit elegant villas adorned in frescoes, explore ampitheathers and grand Roman boulevards, and encounter haunting scenes of everyday life frozen in time. Stop between visits to enjoy lunch and a wine tasting at a nearby winery. Return to Sorrento for the evening. (B,L)
Day 4 — Capri
Sail to the beautiful island of Capri on a private boat this morning, taking in views of the dramatic Sorrentine coast on the way. On arrival, transfer to your hotel by taxi and enjoy the afternoon to discover this fabled island. You might consider walking just outside town to the lovely Gardens of Augustus, which overlook the island’s steep, rocky shores. (B)
Day 5 — Capri
Join a private guide today for a hike along the Path of the Forts, a spectacular trail that traces Capri’s coast, linking the famous Blue Grotto to the island’s historic forts. Take time to relax in the afternoon, and then head to a local family home for a cooking class. Learn the secrets of typical southern Italian cuisine, and enjoy the meal you’ve created for dinner. Day 6 — Positano
Spend a leisurely morning on Capri before cruising by private boat back to the mainland. Your driver will escort you to your hotel in Positano on the Amalfi Coast. You'll have the remainder of the day free to explore this picturesque town. (B)
Day 7 — Positano
Set out with your private car and guide on a full day discovery of the towns and vistas along the Amalfi Coast. Steep slopes drop straight to the sea here, with picturesque villages and towns tucked in along the seaside. In the town of Amalfi, see the beautiful cathedral, which dates back to the 9th century, and take time to explore the town center. Then head to Ravello, set high above the sea, and stroll the stunning gardens of historic Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, which offers exceptional views of the coast. Return to Positano late in the afternoon and enjoy your final evening on the Amalfi Coast. (B)
Day 8 — Depart for home
This morning, your driver will pick you up for your transfer to Naples airport. (B)

The rooftop terrace, its distinguishing feature, offers panoramic views of the city, the Bay of Naples, and Mount Vesuvius in the distance. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a scenic spot for a buffet breakfast or evening meal. Cuisine served is predominantly Mediterranean with Neapolitan classics, accompanied by a local wine list.

Capri, Italy
Built into the hillside overlooking the Marina Grande, the Villa Brunella is a real oasis of calm from the bustling streets of Capri. Once a private home, the Villa Brunella was converted into a boutique hotel in the 1970s. The small villa is surrounded by a lush gardens and terraces, and boasts fantastic sea views. Rooms are large and airy, appointed with antique furniture collected by the owner, Mr Vincenzo, on his travels. The restaurant, which some say is one of the best in the area, offers fantastic sea views and a typical Caprese menu.
