Legado Mitico Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires, Argentina
You could easily not notice the subtle entrance to Legado Mitico on this cobbled street of Palermo, a small sign and a tiny row of manicured trees are all that makes it stand out from the residential properties in this fashionable area of Buenos Aires.
The eleven rooms are all themed on great Argentines, from La Primera Dama (Evita to the English) to the Reconquistador, each decorated to a high standard, with all mod cons that you would expect beautifully mixed with classic furniture.
On the ground floor you will find a peaceful library which opens onto a small courtyard well away from the hustle and bustle of the city, while on the top floor you will come across an open air Jacuzzi. The service here is as discreet as the furnishings and will leave you wanting for nothing.
Belmond Hotel das Cataratas
Iguaçú National Park, Brazil
The only hotel located within Iguaçú National Park, this Portuguese colonial residence is adjacent to the falls, presenting exclusive access to the area at evening and dawn when the park is closed to outside visitors. The property features a large swimming pool surrounded by orchid gardens, two restaurants with an outdoor veranda bar and a spa featuring treatments inspired by the Amazon. Guest rooms include wood floors, work by Brazilian artist Ludmilla de Montes and traditional painted tiles designed exclusively for the hotel.
Hotel Emiliano
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Located in one of São Paulo's most charming and modern neighborhoods, the Emiliano is in the heart of Jardins: on Rua Oscar Freire, an address that is also a symbol of the city. The hotel is surrounded by shops, art galleries, renowned restaurants, cozy cafes, and offices of important companies. It is only two kilometers from the city's two main economic hubs, between Avenida Paulista and Avenida Faria Lima.
