Tim Kircher
Historian
Timothy Kircher is the Hege Professor of History at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. He received his Ph.D. from Yale University. He has lived in Germany and Italy and has led student semesters to both places. He teaches a range of interdisplinary courses in the history and art of the ancient, medieval and Renaissance periods. In addition to serving on the Board of the Renaissance Society of America, he has written several books and over two dozen articles on Renaissance culture, and published a translation of an Italian fifteenth-century dialogue.
