Java Banana

Wonotoro, Indonesia

Java Banana is located in Wonotoro near to Probolinggo, East Java. The 30 room lodge is 2,000 metres above sea level set due east of Mount Bromo. Panoramic views of Mount Tengger are quite spectacular and due to its location and altitude there is a year rou nd breezy (and sometimes cold) mountainous climate.

The accommodation is open plan cabin style, the interiors contemporary in design and well-furnished and the suites have small balconies. The lodge itself has an impressive collection of landscape photography exquisitely displayed in the Java Banana gallery. If you have any free time, you may like to take a short walk to one of the villages nearby.
