H10 Villa de la Reina

Madrid, Spain

The H10 Villa de la Reina is a boutique hotel set within an early 20th-century building in the heart on Gran Via, Madrid’s most famous street. Its classically stylish interior includes a large lobby with granite columns, Moorish-style lanterns, and palms, as well as a restaurant with an abundant breakfast buffet and a bar that offers tapas. With high ceilings and large windows, rooms retain the hotel's period charm but are decorated in a more contemporary style and are well-equipped with modern conveniences.

Gallery Hotel

Barcelona, Spain

Located in Barcelona’s Eixample district—home to some of Gaudí’s most famous creations—the Gallery Hotel is a comfortable contemporary boutique hotel that offers excellent service. Rooms are tasteful and understated, with views of the hotel’s leafy courtyard or the city. Rooms in the Superior category and above include a pillow menu, as well as Nespresso machines, automatic late checkout, and ‘Wi-Fi to go’ smart-devices to aid your exploration of the city. A rooftop pool and terrace bar offer panoramic views over Barcelona’s rooftops, and the hotel also features a gym and sauna. The restaurant, Sintonia, features artfully prepared Mediterranean dishes and opens onto an outdoor patio with a retractable roof. Twice a month the hotel also hosts a flea market in their gallery space next door.

Villa Soro

San Sebastián, Spain

Housed in a 19th-century mansion that once belonged to an aristocratic Basque family, Villa Soro is now a protected Site of Historical Heritage in San Sebastián. The grand entrance hall and drawing room and the handsome bar and lounge recall the elegance of a bygone era. The 25 rooms are split between the main manor house and the converted stable annex behind. Guest rooms are classic and comfortable, and equipped with modern amenities.  Breakfast is served in a light-filled breakfast room that opens onto a small terrace in fine weather. There is no on-site restaurant, but the hotel provides a small room service dinner menu.
