Suggested Itinerary

Day 1 — Bangkok

You will be met at the Bangkok International Airport by your private driver and transferred to your hotel.

The Siam Kempinski is a large, calming retreat located in the center of the city, and features one of Bangkok's recently recognized Michelin starred restaurants – the Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin.

Day 2 — Bangkok

Start your day with a privately guided tour of Bangkok to get your bearings. You’ll navigate multiple forms of public transportation – from the Skytrain winding its way through downtown skyscrapers and shopping centers to a long-tail boat, public boat taxi and the ubiquitous tuk-tuk – as your guide introduces you to Thai culture and explains the significance behind some of the city’s key attractions.

After stops at the Grand Palace and Wat Po, home to the reclining Buddha, you’ll finish up just in time for lunch, so be sure to request a local recommendation. We suggest reservations at Sra Bua this evening to celebrate the start of your culinary adventure. (B)

Day 3 — Bangkok

Today you'll dig into Bangkok's delicious street food with the guidance of a local foodie guide.

You’ll get an introduction to different cuisines, visit some of the most popular food stalls and be taught key phrases to order on your own as you continue your journey through Thailand. (B, L)

Day 4 — Bangkok

Spend the morning at will – lounging by the pool, or testing another recommendation in Bangkok’s new Michelin guide for lunch. In the evening, a guide will pick you up en route to a luxury hotel for an exclusive Chef's Table dining experience.

The multi-course tasting menu is prepared right in front of you by the hotel's chef, turning your meal into private culinary performance. (B, D)

Day 5 – Amphawa

Make the short journey to Amphawa to see the Tha Kha floating market in action and get a sense of local cuisine and commerce. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will enjoy an easy bike ride to the organic farms of Bang Phlap– a fantastic community-based tourism project to learn about the late King’s sustainable agriculture initiatives.

Stay at a riverside eco-retreat this evening away from the bustling city. (B,L)

Day 6 — Chiang Mai

Your guide will drive you to the airport today for the flight to Chiang Mai. Your driver will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to your hotel. In the evening your guide will take you to a local temple to witness the rituals of the monks.

You will then be able to enjoy a delicious Thai meal at a local boutique hotel before visiting the local night market. Sample a Thai dessert as a sweet ending to your evening. (B,D)

Day 7 — Chiang Mai

Spend today exploring Chiang Mai at your leisure. Be sure to try Khao soi noodles or Chiang Mai pork sausage, both local specialties. (B)

Day 8 — Chiang Mai

This morning you will be picked up in a classic vehicle and transferred to your cooking class outside the city. Your teacher, Yui, is a well-known chef within Thailand who will teach you traditional Thai dishes for you to prepare at home. (B, L)

Day 9 — Phuket

Today you will transfer back to the airport for your flight to Phuket, via Bangkok. You’ll be met by your private driver and taken to a beach hotel boasting a wide variety of dining options.

Spend the afternoon relaxing by the beach. (B)

Days 10 — Phuket

Meet your guide for a tour of Phuket's street food today. The cuisine is distinct from Bangkok's as it's been influenced by Chinese, Malay, and Singaporean merchants, bringing spice and curries, which blend beautifully with local seafood and coconut. (B, L)

Day 11 — Phuket

Enjoy your day relaxing or set out on a long boat in exploration of the nearby islands. (B)

Day 12 — Depart on your flights home

Return to Bangkok for your international flight home.
