Overview
Our Northern Lights by Private Jet itinerary is an active and ambitious program. While the pace of daily activities is moderate, there will be several early morning departures and some longer days so you can experience the best of these incredible destinations. Later evenings will be required to view the Northern Lights. The itinerary will cover great distances which can affect energy levels. You should be physically active and in good general health prior to departure. The trip will include plenty of activities—including hiking, walking, kayaking, snowshoeing, northern lights viewing and more—in addition to less active excursions designed to offer cultural or historical context. Some excursions will last from two to three hours and require walking from one to three miles.
The trip will require standing and walking for extended periods of time, sometimes over difficult terrain. Expect cold temperatures on this trip. Pathways and trails may be snow-packed and icy in spots. Temperatures in Iceland, Norway and Northern Finland will be cold with snow and wind always possible. It can remain at or well below freezing for an entire day or the entire trip. Late evenings should be expected to view the Northern Lights. Viewing the Northern Lights is weather dependent. More details on what to pack and expect on this trip will be included with your Pre-Tour documents.
Specific inoculations may be required to take part in this journey. Details on how to prepare for this trip and information on each day’s activities, including weather, packing suggestions, and “what to expect” will be included with your Pre-Tour documents.
Countries on this itinerary are not immune to events that could require an itinerary change. Weather, political occurrences, and visits by dignitaries can require extra flexibility to accommodate the unexpected event or events.
