Located on a hilltop just a short walk from the shops, restaurants and galleries of Sestri Levante, the Vis à Vis hotel features a cozy restaurant and lounge with exceptional sunset vistas over the Baia del Silenzio  (the Bay of Silence) and Baia delle Favole (Bay of Fairy Tales) named in honour of Hans Christian Andersen, a resident of the town for a short time.  All guest rooms feature a small terrace or balcony with seaside or dramatic mountain views and feature private baths and all the modern ammentities. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk, concierge service, and laundry and dry-cleaning services (at an additonal fee). Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout the hotel and there is a small heated pool and spa on site.

Expectations: Week-long Cultural Stay featuring one city and region—and one hotel. Full-day excursions outside the city with some longer, extensive walking tours of villages, museums, and outdoor historic sites. Some excursions can be over uneven terrain (e.g. gardens and outdoor sites, cobblestones, city hills, stairs without handrails, absence of elevators); some longer walks to get to city centers where coaches are prohibited. Hotel centrally located for easy access to cafes, restaurants, and boutiques during time at leisure.
