New Hotel

Athens, Greece

The New Hotel is a riveting reincarnation of the modernist Olympic Palace Hotel built in the 1950s. The Campana brothers, renowned Brazilian designers, transformed the outdated property into an innovative work of architecture and design, using everyday objects and vestiges from the former hotel to create exciting new spaces and décor. In the reception and bar, deconstructed furniture from the previous hotel can be found, as well as unusual custom-made furniture with hints of Greek culture. The 79 rooms are simply decorated, yet full of interesting details. While some rooms are snug, they are bright, stylish and offer all modern amenities. The hotel also features a spa, fitness room, and two restaurants: the main restaurant, New Taste, which also serves as the breakfast room, and the Art Lounge roof bar and restaurant which offers views over the city and the Acropolis.

Salt Suites

Pollonia, Greece

Located at the edge of the town of Pollonia, right on the water, Salt Suites is a boutique hotel with plenty of character and expansive views of the Milos coast. Modern, bright, and minimalist, its simple Cycladic design and tranquil location make it a great place to relax and unwind. The hotel has just ten rooms and the service is attentive yet discreet. Guests can relax on their room’s balcony, where an à la carte breakfast is served each morning. They can also find loungers on the sunny deck terrace which is directly over the water and faces the vivid sunset in the evenings.

Santorini Secret Suites & Spa

Oia, Santorini, Greece

Perched at the caldera’s edge in the whitewashed village of Oia, Santorini Secret Suites & Spa is a boutique property with a magical setting. Rooms are located over several levels with terraces looking out to the sea and onto the walkways connecting different areas of the hotel. All rooms have a terrace area with hot tub or plunge pool, which creates a memorable setting for breakfast in the mornings and champagne at sunset. With just 17 rooms, the property has an intimate feel to it. However, the facilities are those of a larger hotel. There’s a Greek-Japanese fusion restaurant with an outdoor dining terrace, a small pool with a poolside bar. Spa services are also available, and all the lively shopping and dining of the heart of Oia is right outside the entrance.

Belvedere Hotel

Mykonos Town, Mykonos, Greece

A Mykonos mainstay since the 1960s, the Belvedere has transformed itself over the years, holding onto the nostalgia of old Mykonos while embracing modern style and amenities. The hotel offers a range of inviting suites and villas on the hilltop or the waterfront, as well as a private mansion. The numerous restaurant and bars include a fine-dining establishment, a poolside bar, and a lovely wine cellar; and wellness amenities include a Six Senses Spa, a fitness studio, and a pool club.
