Smithsonian at Space Academy
Last year, Smithsonian Journeys travelers were immersed in space exploration at the renowned U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, a Smithsonian Affiliate. Together they met with astronauts who led them through exercises and presentations of various space missions, met with aerospace engineers who had worked on important NASA projects, and took VIP tours of the facilities. Our photo gallery of one of last year's groups reflects their excitement for learning and camaraderie and shows firsthand what their experiences were like. You, too, can be part of a similar journey in November 2020 or March and November 2021.
