Kurt Westenbarger

Kurt traveled much of the United States before finally settling in Montana in 1970. He attended Montana State University where he began guiding recreational and educational outings for camping, backpacking, river running, and Nordic skiing. Kurt’s interpretive guiding expertise covers a vast and diverse area ranging from Waterton National Park in the Northern Rockies to Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks in California, and from Olympic National Park on the Pacific Coast, to Mesa Verde and Arches in the Desert Southwest. In addition, Kurt is a gifted writer and photographer.
