Last Updated: November 23, 2021
A Message from Smithsonian Journeys on the COVID-19 pandemic
As we navigate the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, the safety and health of our travelers and staff continue to be our top priority.
We know that those of you with upcoming travel plans may have questions. We will continue to closely monitor global developments and follow the advice of the U.S. Department of State (DOS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as other public health authorities and officials in the destinations we visit. As the situation is fluid, we will be in touch with you immediately if there are updates on your specific trip.
The decision to travel is a personal one; each of us has to determine our own comfort level with travel. To help you make your decision, we have outlined the extra health and safety measures we are taking across all facets of our future journeys. And to provide you more peace of mind, we have made our payment terms more flexible so you can make future travel plans with the confidence of knowing you can change your plans if needed. Any trip you book by May 31, 2022 may be cancelled up to 95 days prior to the departure date, and you'll receive a full refund.*
Please contact us at 877-338-8687 or [email protected] if you have specific questions regarding your upcoming reservation.
Thank you for choosing to travel with Smithsonian Journeys and supporting our educational mission to preserve our heritage, discover new knowledge, and share our resources with the world.
Sincerely,
Lynn Cutter
