Saturday in Pamplona

By | November 13, 2014

We break for lunch now, returning to the bars that earlier had captured our fancy.  The pintxos come delicious, fresh and fast, so there is plenty of time to move on and sample more.  Our txikiteo is delightful, relaxing.  Heading back to the bus, I am struck by the breadth of living culture we have witnessed during our brief stay in Pamplona –food, songs, politics, traditions—taken together, another swatch of the rich cultural tapestry of Northern Spain.
