Aegean Odyssey is a mid-size ship, accommodating 350 guests, which is ideal for cruising the coastal waters of the Mediterranean. Due to her size, the ship offers a host of amenities, yet can cruise among the smaller, less crowded harbors and sail closer to the coast to maximize the magical views.
Comfortable, generously sized suites, junior suites, and staterooms are offered with and without balconies. All accommodations are air-conditioned and feature en suite facilities with bathtub and/or shower. Amenities include flatscreen TV, personal safe, and a hair dryer. Balcony Class staterooms (Category A-D) feature additional amenities, including welcome bottle of champagne, refrigerator stocked with soft drinks, complimentary bottled water, and bathrobes/slippers.
Aegean Odyssey’s two restaurants feature open seating dining with meal times arranged to suit the ship’s time in port and the shore excursion program. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the Terrace Café, and outdoor terrace dining is also available. Lunch and dinner are served in the Marco Polo restaurant. To enhance Smithsonian camaraderie some dinners will feature Smithsonian tables in the Marco Polo restaurant (with unassigned seating). Afternoon tea is served and a limited room service menu is available except on embarkation/disembarkation days.
The ship’s amenities include three lounges, three bars, lecture theater, well-stocked library, Internet center, outdoor pool, spa (with saunas, massage and beauty treatment rooms) and hairdressers/beauty center. Telephone, fax, and email access are available via satellite.
