M.V. Sea ExplorerMar 11 - 24, 2014
The elegant yacht Sea Explorer, formerly the Corinthian II, accommodates up to 100 guests in 55 cabins. Completely refurbished in 2005, this intimate ship provides discerning travelers with top amenities, gracious service, and informal elegance. Plus, the casual style of cruising means open seating at meals and no formal dress.
Sea Explorer features expansive open deck areas as well as two lounges, an outdoor café, library with internet service, exercise room, beauty salon, and sun deck with Jacuzzi. An elegant, spacious restaurant accommodates all guests in open, unassigned seating and breakfast and lunch are generally also served outdoors on the sun deck. The cuisine is outstanding, and the overall service is efficient and friendly while unobtrusive. (Wine and beer are served with lunch and dinner.) The ship is served by 70 seasoned officers and crew and a resident physician attends a well-equipped infirmary. An elevator serves all decks. There is also a fleet of Zodiac inflatable boats for accessing smaller ports and beaches.
All of Sea Explorer's suites face outside, providing views of the sea and landscape, and several have a private balcony. Spacious cabins offer fine wood details, sitting area, and queen bed that can be converted to two twin-size beds. Other features include spacious closets, mini-refrigerator, safe, climate control, telephone, satellite TV, DVD/CD player, and a bathroom with marble vanity, shower, and other amenities such as plush bathrobes.
