Onsea House
Onsea House was voted the best luxury bed and breakfast in Arusha. The staff strives to bring great comfort, wonderful food, personalized service and respectful privacy to all who stay at the guesthouse.

Opened in 2006, this cozy and tranquil Country Inn consists of four self-contained rooms, with sumptuous four-poster beds with Italian cotton sheets, and wooden writing desks in each room. The en-suite bathrooms are decorated with cream tiled floors, and white walls. Each has a bath and shower, a flush toilet and a sink. They are quite spacious and bright, and include 'Sanctuary Spa' toiletries.

Oliver’s Camp
Tarangire
Oliver's Camp is situated in Tarangire's unspoiled wilderness area. This camp is ideally placed to access the yearly migrations of wildlife throughout the ecosystem, and to view the impressive concentrations at waterholes for a five to six month season each year.

Being in the wilderness zone allows visitors the freedom to join walking excursions close to the camp, from a gentle stroll near the camp to a full day out on foot across the Park. The variety of habitats surrounding the camp includes open plains, acacia woodlands, tree-lined sand rivers, and challenging hill climbs. All walking safaris take place within the National Park and therefore guests must be 16 years or older to participate.

Another option, off-road driving in open vehicles, is something that is not readily available in other National Parks in northern Tanzania. Game drives are the classic way to view game, in close proximity, accessing hidden areas and rare wildlife. Few other visitors to this part of the park means long game drives undisturbed by other vehicles, affording guests private and unique sightings.

With local knowledge and up-to-date information on the areas around the camp, the guides at Oliver’s Camp are second to none when it comes to finding the best and most exciting wildlife to be seen. The migratory herds of wildebeest, buffalo, zebra and elephant afford us great day-to-day wildlife viewing, and the dry season search for water means that predators are never far away. Up to twenty mammal species can be seen on almost every drive.

From here you may also drive through the heart of Maasailand where you may meet Maasai herdsman, red-cloaked, necklaced and earringed in bright-colored beads, with iron spears as tall as themselves.

Only five guest tents are available. Solid wooden furniture, beautiful cloth and practical en suite facilities are expertly maintained in each of the five sleeping tents. Our drinks and library tent offer a relaxing respite after open vehicle or on-foot adventures out in the surrounding National Park. Cold drinks, camp fires and outstanding hosts in such settings combine to make any visit an intimate learning experience for which many a visitor has returned. Plantation Lodge
The Plantation Lodge is surrounded by coffee plantations and the famous Green Hills of Africa that Hemingway found so inspiring. Replete with charm and comfort, the Lodge is hidden in the heart of the African bush and in the center of the legendary East African safari. From your veranda you have a view of the colors and fragrant blossom splendor of a romantic park. Walk underneath the avocado and eucalyptus trees and listen to the various voices of over 40 different kinds of domestic birds. Observe the snuggling geckos doing their mating dance or the cackling geese on their way to the morning bath.

Designed and decorated in the tradition of the first safaris, the complete lodge is surrounded by a mythic flair of past times. Every room has its own style. African safari antiques and Tanzanian arts and crafts dominate the room, without neglecting modern European comforts.

Olakira Camp
Enjoy a luxury mobile tented camp located within the Serengeti National Park, moving twice a year between carefully chosen campsites allowing for superb game viewing of the Great Migration at all times.

Between June and November, Olakira Camp establishes itself in one of the most unspoiled locations in the Northern Serengeti. Situated farther east than most camps, Olakira allows guests the exclusive use of the largely undisturbed Bolongonia area. Situated close to the Mara River, the camp overlooks a crossing point regularly used during the Great Migration.

From December until March, Olakira can be found on the southern plains of the Ndutu region of the Serengeti. Situated in the shade of a small forest, the camp overlooks a seasonal stream and the vast plains beyond. Each year herds of wildebeest and zebra return here to give birth, followed by a multitude of predators.

Olakira, meaning “star” in Swahili, consists of eight spacious tents, each featuring a king-size bed and private veranda with stunning views of the Serengeti. The soft, neutral colored furnishings, including beautiful rugs and patterned bedspreads, help to give these tents a simple and rustic understated style. Large gauze windows with canvas flaps can be left down to allow cool breezes in, or closed entirely for increased privacy. En-suite bathrooms are set behind a dividing canvas wall, with brass and wooden features, including bucket showers. Hot water is available on request.

Time at Olakira Camp is spent in either half- or full-day game drives. While in the Northern Serengeti, game drives may lead guests to the Mara River, unexplored bush of Bolongonia and the vast plains of Lobo and Wogakuria. This is a great location to be in when the migration crosses the crocodile infested Mara River. In the Southern Serengeti, game drives explore the Ndutu area. On these plains, the wildebeest and zebra give birth to the next generation amidst the threat of lion, leopard and other predators.

Back in camp, visitors share stories, play board games, gaze at the stars, relax with a book or enjoy one of countless other options. Private meals in the surrounding bush can also be arranged by camp management.
