This special exhibition will feature renowned works from The Hague’s Royal Picture Gallery, home to one of the world’s finest painting collections of the era.

    Deepen your insight into Dutch painting as you view 17th-century masterpieces from the Mauritshuis, featuring Rembrandt’s Simeon’s Song of Praise and Vermeer’s iconic Girl with a Pearl Earring, and from the Frick’s impressive permanent collection, including Rembrandt’s Nicolaes Ruts, Vermeer’s Officer and Laughing Girl, and Hals’s Portrait of a Woman. At the Metropolitan Museum of Art, behold four more of Vermeer’s masterpieces and the most important American collection of paintings by Frans Hals.
