Overview
  • Join us on a summer voyage aboard the magnificent sailing barque Sea Cloud II and sail to destinations in France, England, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Throughout your cruise you'll experience highlights of art, horticulture, and a shared heritage of history and ideas. Our adventure is scheduled just as summer arrives, when the seas are calm and the gardens are lush. You'll travel in the company of Patrick Bowe, a distinguished architectural historian and renowned garden expert, and Kathryn Calley Galitz, a scholar of late 18th- and early 19th-century French art.

Highlights of this unique voyage include masterpieces of art, from Michelangelo and Raphael, to Van Dyck and Rembrandt, and Boudin and Van Gogh. Gardens range from a Renaissance-inspired landscape with an English manor house dating to 1485 to the famed botanic garden of Amsterdam. You'll enjoy the magical canals and ambiance of Bruges and Amsterdam. Plus, our program features plenty of time to enjoy the pleasures of sailing aboard Sea Cloud II. Life aboard Sea Cloud II has no parallel, with five-star dining, elegant appointments, and a friendly staff.
