Professor Carol Fleisher Kent was named one of the top ten teachers at Georgetown University, where she taught courses on Gothic fiction, film, and detective fiction for 14 years. Playboy magazine cited her Hitchcock course at Georgetown as “worth waking up for.” Carol earned a master’s degree from Breadloaf School of English and received her Ph.D. in modern literature and film from Brown University. A popular Smithsonian study leader, she has led Classic Mystery Lover’s England and Mystery Lover’s England and Scotland for many years. She will be joined by Rosalind Hutchinson, a Blue Badge guide and fellow mystery buff.
