With the largest fleet to ply the Yangtze, Victoria Cruises is the leader in Yangtze River cruising. The premier ships used for Smithsonian Journeys are air-conditioned and carry 198 to 308 passengers. All accommodations feature spacious (155 square feet) outside cabins that are nonsmoking, with private bathroom with tub and shower, balcony, and satellite television. The dining room presents excellent Chinese and Western cuisine, with breakfast and lunch buffets and classic Chinese dinner banquets. Each ship also features a reading room, fitness area, gift shop, and beauty salon. On-board activities include lectures, tai chi lessons, calligraphy demonstrations, and traditional evening entertainment. Please note there are no elevators aboard ship.
