January 18 — St. George's, Grenada
During an idyllic morning at sea, relax and enjoy the gentle breezes. In the afternoon arrive in St. George's, the capital city of Grenada, with its medley of brightly colored houses. This is the “Spice Island,” where you can shop for locally produced nutmeg, cloves, cocoa, cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla. Following a visit to privately owned Sunnyside Gardens, continue to Hyde Park Garden, established in the wooded hills above the city. Walk in the manicured garden and sample a traditional rum punch. Tonight, gather on Lido Deck tonight for dancing under the stars to the music of one of the Caribbean’s best steel-drum bands. (B, L, D)
