Then ride aboard the steep Flam Railway through the stunning landscape, and enjoy a scenic fjord cruise. In Bergen, tour Bryggen, the district of colorful medieval houses, and visit composer Edvard Grieg’s former home to hear a specially arranged recital. 2014 Copenhagen Pre-Cruise Optional Extension
Spend two nights in Denmark's capital with accommodations in a deluxe hotel. Enjoy Copenhagen’s beautiful architecture and stunning maritime setting during the canal cruise featuring the city’s most notable landmarks, and the panoramic tour into the heart of the city including Strøget, Copenhagen’s famous pedestrian shopping street. Gain a unique perspective on Denmark’s royal heritage during an excursion to North Zealand to see Kronborg Castle, the setting for Shakespeare’s Hamlet and a UNESCO World Heritage site, and tour 17th-century Frederiksborg Castle, now the Danish National History Museum.

2014 Stockholm Post-Cruise Optional Extension
One of the most handsome Scandinavian cities, Stockholm is an attractive and harmonious mixture of medieval and modern structures built on 14 small islands scattered among open bays and narrow channels. Visit the City Hall, a 20th-century architectural masterpiece, where the majority of Nobel Prizes are awarded.
