Itinerary

June 22 — Welcome to Chautauqua
Gather for a welcome reception in the Hotel Athenaeum parlor with fellow travelers and Study Leader Michelle Thaller. A full packet of information on all activities and offerings at Chautauqua will be distributed at this time. After remarks by your Study Leader, enjoy dinner in the main dining room. Each evening you'll have a five-course meal with an average serving time of two hours. This evening enjoy a concert in the Amphitheater.

June 23-28 — Overview of your week at Chautauqua
Each morning gather for a full breakfast buffet. Then take your morning coffee out to the majestic front porch of the Hotel Athenaeum for sweeping views of Lake Chautauqua. After breakfast attend daily private lectures with Michelle Thaller. Dr. Thaller will offer in-depth discussions on the formation of stars, planets around other stars, the formation of galaxies, and new findings on Dark matter and Dark energy. After each morning lecture, stroll down to the Amphitheatre to attend sessions by Main Stage speakers, all leading authors, astronomers, and scientists. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch followed by an afternoon each day to explore Chautauqua on your own (a full program of activities will be provided). Gather in the evening for lively conversation and festive dinner, followed by evening performances and activities. (Each day: B,L,D)

June 29 —Depart Chautauqua
After breakfast depart Chautauqua. (You may order a boxed lunch to go.) (B,L)
