Day 1 — Kansas City, Missouri
Individual arrivals at The Raphael Hotel/Kansas City. Join fellow travelers and Study Leader Bill Kloss for a welcome reception, then enjoy an orientation lecture by Mr. Kloss, followed by dinner. (R,D)

Day 2 — Kansas City & Independence, Missouri
Depart by motor coach for Independence, Missouri. Arrive at the Harry S. Truman National Historic Site and view an orientation film about Harry Truman and his life in Independence, plus see exhibits featuring the Truman family treasures and browse the bookstore. Break up into smaller groups to visit the Truman Home. Depart for the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, where you'll enjoy lunch upon arrival. Then take a tour of the extensive collection of American masterpieces: 300 paintings and a significant collection of watercolors. Highlights include Thomas Cole’s The Old Mill at Sunset, 1844, and Winslow Homer’s Gloucester Harbor 1873. Plus, view superb compositions by Childe Hassam and Frederic Remington. Return to the hotel and gather for refreshments followed by an evening lecture by Bill Kloss and dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 3 — Bentonville, Arkansas & Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art
Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel before departing for Bentonville, Arkansas. Arrive at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and gather for lunch. View the permanent collection that features American masterworks ranging from the Colonial era to the current day. The collection includes iconic images such as Asher B. Durand's Kindred Spirits, Norman Rockwell’s Rosie the Riveter, and Andy Warhol's Dolly Parton, each reflecting a distinct moment in American artistic evolution. In addition to historical works, the Museum's collection also showcases major works by modern and contemporary American artists, including Roy Lichtenstein, James Turrell, and Georgia O'Keeffe. There will be an optional guided tour exploring the extensive trails and landscape features, such as the Dogwood Trail, Rock Ledge Trail, Crystal & Tulip Tree Trail, and the Overlook. Or, you may continue to peruse the galleries on your own. This evening join fellow travelers for a farewell dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 4 — Depart for home
After breakfast, depart for Kansas City International Airport for flights home. (B)
