    During two days in Johannesburg, see the homes of Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela and visit the Hector Pieterson Museum on Apartheid. Then spend three days at magnificent Victoria Falls, where you’ll stay at a deluxe hotel located in the Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve. Botswana’s Chobe National Park boasts one of the largest concentrations of birds and wildlife in all of Africa. Enjoy sensational game drives and boat safaris during three days in the park. Grant Nel holds a BSc (Hon) degree in Zoology, has worked in the African wild for two decades and has also traveled widely internationally. Grant will lead the August 4 and October 27, 2013 departures. A popular and respected naturalist, Patricia Hostiuck has led over 50 trips with Smithsonian Journeys.
