Sadie McVicker is an International Program Manager at Smithsonian Journeys, where she oversees study programs to a wide variety of international destinations. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago and her Master’s Degree in International Relations & Development from L’Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris in France. She lived in France for more than six years in both academic and professional capacities, and is fluent in French. She has worked as a political analyst, cultural liaison, and translator for several diplomatic missions, including the Embassy of Japan in Paris, and the Embassies of Singapore and Morocco in Washington, DC. Sadie has a great love of history, international relations, cross-cultural exploration, nature, and the outdoors.
