Joseph Snyder lectures on current affairs, drawing on his 30 years’ experience as a veteran Foreign Service officer. He represented the U.S. State Department in Thailand, Iran, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Austria; he was Director and Spokesman of the State Department Press Office; and was Deputy Ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency. He has also traveled extensively throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Pacific. Snyder received an M.A. from Yale University, and a B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University, in international relations.
