Elvira Hammond teaches courses in Asian history and Chinese literature at New Mexico State University. Elvira holds a Master’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Stanford University, has traveled widely in Asia, and worked for many years in Beijing. She returns often to China, as you will recognize when she discusses contemporary issues.
