Having stepped off the boat onto the main island almost 10 years ago, I can agree that it is another world. From the hustle and bustle of European Dublin, Aran is a strong contrast. Quite, remote, and full of lovely finds are the islands. Instead of green, I am wearing my heavy wool hand-knit Aran sweater to show my Irish pride. I am reminded that there they celebrate the religious holiday, and not so much the green beer festivities. Thanks for the great post!
