Now Showing: Night at the Museum

May 22nd, 2009 by Smithsonian Journeys

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian opens today at theaters nationwide. We’re showing it right here at the Institution, in our IMAX theaters, too. Click here for a behind-the-scenes look at the movie set with National Air and Space Museum curator Dr. Margaret Weitekamp and our own Smithsonian Channel’s Andrea Michnik.

Kamunrah’s Treasure Trove is on display in the Smithsonian Castle, so make sure to stop by if you’re in the area. Don’t forget to check out our interactive treasure map to check out your favorite items from the movie.

And, if you’re looking for something to spice up your summer vacation, join us Jul 24-26 for a movie-inspired Family Weekend in Washington, DC. Hope to see you here!
